If so, we are looking for you to complement one of our three offices London, Kitchener or Kingston Ontario.</p><p><br /></p><p>Check us out! <span >https://callidus.ca/work</span>-at-callidus/<br /></p><ul><li>We have competitive wages<br /></li><li>We offer a competitive benefits package<br /></li><li>Incentive compensation based on the performance of the company.<br /></li></ul><p>Responsibilities Include:<br /></p><ul><li>Review and stamp electrical projects of all complexities and sizes</li><li>Direct design <span >strategies/concepts</span> on complex projects for the following electrical systems:<ul><li>Power distribution and generation systems</li><li>Lighting (indoor and outdoor) and lighting control systems</li><li>Fire Alarm Systems</li><li>Voice/data communications, Security/CCTV systems, public address, nurse call, and related infrastructure</li></ul></li><li>Provide technical leadership within the electrical team</li><li>Lead audits, feasibility assessments and investigations and write corresponding reports.</li><li>Support efforts in the continuous development of electrical design standards and practices.</li><li>Mentor intermediate and junior level engineers and designers</li><li>Involvement in troubleshooting construction issues</li><li>Communicate with clients, contractors and sales reps, prepare project documentation and coordinate with other engineering disciplines</li><li>Conduct site visits/reviews and construction phase services</li><li>Other responsibilities as required</li></ul><p>Required experience:<br /></p><ul><li>Design experience for complex fire alarm and electrical systems in a variety of industry sectors including multi-unit residential, healthcare, commercial, industrial, and institutional. </li><li>Significant exposure to troubleshooting on-site control issues</li><li>Design experience for medium and/or high voltage system is an asset</li><li>Extensive code knowledge including but not limited to: OBC, OESC, CSA and other referenced codes</li></ul><p>Qualifications:<br /></p><ul><li>Engineering license in Ontario with 10+ years of design experience in the building construction industry and at least 5 years design experience in Canada.</li><li>Pro-active approach to problem-solving and communicating with others</li><li>Ability to multi-task and be organized, especially under the stress of deadlines</li><li>Excellent communication, decision-making, and leadership skills</li><li>Strong desire to work within a team and develop the skills of the team</li></ul></p></p>Browse Jobs in Canada by City
